Last week, I have run a campaign for the student council election. By that time, I was filled with full of enthusiasm and motivation to write a motivation letter for the election. Now, I am sharing my motivation letter with you too. By the way, I had a success on a vote and I am waiting for the new career to begin.

Dear Student,

I have been studying at GMIT for nearly four years from the basic engineering program and was a member of eight different clubs. However, before all the moments, I was mentored by a former senior student who voluntarily shared his experience at the university and coached me to create a plan for a study. The seed of the ‘learn and share’ mindset was planted inside me; hence I try to gain as much as possible and share them too. Since the warm discussion, I appreciate the greatness of support, unity, and guidance. Therefore, my primary purpose for joining the student council is to enhance the closer community and create greater opportunities in different fields at the university.

GROW TOGETHER. I strongly believe that the student council is a result of a student union. Accordingly, the student council should conduct every possible event which could involve and develop all the students. For this reason, I am proposing three ideas of activities that I will do with a great team of the student council. Creating and passing the knowledge, principles, experience, tips and advice from peer to peer, is an important factor for forming values and affirmations as well as building and developing people for tomorrow. Secondly, we need collaborative working space in both virtual and physical ways in which students can develop new ideas, enhance entrepreneurial skills, and get support for teams. It is a plan of creating a project incubator where dreamers and thinkers could meet and advance themselves and their extraordinary notions. The third consideration is about club partnership. Cooperation of clubs in the university could be achieved in many ways, for instance, working on the same project as a team play and a combination. Moreover, I would work on establishing a community and connection of inter-universities clubs where students can share their experience and cooperate. During the student council member semesters, I will try my best to break the fully financial dependency of student clubs on the student council by developing another system in which clubs could take financial support on time.

All in all, I strongly believe in the power of unity, integrity and contagious values. Therefore, I will make every effort to emphasize the charge of the student council on the alliance so that students can connect with others without any difficulties. I hope that day will come soon. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Tuguldur Bayaraa
